A Plug

There are a lot of people dispensing life advice these days. Not many are worth listening to. (Most of them should be advice consumers rather than producers, but that’s a subject for another screed.) But there are a few who deserve attention – and no, I’m not referring to myself.

Encountering one of these sources is a matter of happenstance. They seldom beckon you toward them. Rather, they wait for you to find them. Stumbling upon one can be a consciousness-expanding experience.

Remember this piece? It shook me. Here was someone else – someone I’d never heard of, someone whose name I didn’t know! – willing to speak the truth about the state of the world as we suffer it today. I had to find out more about this guy, his organization if he has one, and whatever else he has to say. And I did:

The GRIM Alliance is an invite-only network of high-achievers worldwide. Connected, aware and standing together, we serve each other in a conviction of growth, reliability, protection and independence.
GRIM stands for Gratitude, Reliability, Incorruptibility and Mentorship. We have one mantra. Help and advance your fellow people. The member fee is not cheap, and it should not be. It’s an investment for the chosen ones.

Now, as a rule, organizations that exhort you to “Send $X for the secrets of success” are merely hustling you. That may be true of GRIM. At any rate, I don’t plan to join, being old, well past my productive years, and a committed anti-joiner as well. However, the many videos on the GRIM HUSTLE YouTube channel have a lot to say. Nearly all of it is delivered by Andrej Kaminsky, the narrator of the “Your Life is a Prison” video I linked above. And all of it, so far as my personal knowledge goes – I haven’t yet watched all the videos – is valuable advice for young and maturing men who want to be more than mere cogs in an engine of consumption, delusion, and subjugation.

So to any “young or maturing men” among our Gentle Readers – old farts that we are, I’m sure we have some — take a look at the GRIM HUSTLE YouTube channel. Play a few of the videos, and let me know what you think.

Thanks for the tip. Excellent short, direct videos. I viewed quite a few and all worth it but I don’t get the GRIM organization.  Just doesn’t “fit” the ideology.

Be honorable stands by itself, doesn’t need a group.

    1. The GRIM organization emphasizes the growth and support of a brotherhood of GRIM members who are mutually committed to one another. It seems consistent.

  1. I, too, have been doing a bit of a dive into the GRIM world.   Best take I can give at this time,,,

Wish someone had told me this stuff 35 years ago,,,

And, maybe they did, me being the ornery cuss I have history being.   I like the actors take of being a Russian Mafioso, it gives an air of “bad boy” that rings for the younger generation, many of whom, (especially in these parts and in the inner cities) need a strong character that resonates with them: Thug Life as a lot of them like to call it.

Heck, if this group only ‘wakes up’ a percentage point of the population, they are doing better than 99% of the rest.
