True Enough Picture of The Working Man

I found this on Substack, on Tom Knighton’s site. It encapsulates the core reason the Blue Collar Worker cannot get excited about the prospect of Socialism.

Blue Collar Workers (BCWs) aren’t stupid. Their work may not require a college education, but the better-paid members of that economic class have – generally – learned MORE than your typical college graduate. And, although they may have learned it in apprenticeships or trades schools, the majority of that learnin’ was at the so-called School of Hard Knocks.

The Essential Knowledge, The Core?

No privileged person will give up THEIR money or perks to “Share the Wealth”.

Their plan is to force those BCWs to give up THEIR money for the Elite to hand over to those who will not work. With the Elite person(s) taking credit for forcing those ‘social criminals’ to SHARE.

I’ve heard that word “Share” since I was a kid. Unlike the dictionary definition, which indicates a VOLUNTARY choice, IRL, Sharing means:

Intimidating/Threatening someone to turn over what is THEIRS for the benefit of another (and, the person forcing that unwilling Sharer gets social approval for being an enlightened person who has shown the Selfish Person the Light).

Notice something?

The person giving up THEIR stuff is never the person who thinks everyone should do it. THEY get to keep their stuff. This is what is Actual Privilege.
